Bath (Part 2) - Walking tour of Bath, Afternoon Tea

At 10:30 in the morning, we went on a ~2.5 hours FREE walking tour of bath with the Mayor of Bath Honorary Guides. It was very interesting and I learned a great deal about the history of Bath.

View from the River Avon. The bridge,  Pulteney Bridge, is in the Palladian style and has shops on both sides! If you don't pay attention, you can't even tell you're crossing the bridge!

Our guide told us that these 'floating toilets" were built after bathrooms became common inside homes so that the geometry of the living quarters would not need to be changed because of the additional room.

The Royal Crescent! (Can you believe that we were getting rained on only ~15 min before this picture was taken?)

The Circus.

After the tour, we decided to just relax with some lunch, walk around, and then go for afternoon tea! There were many parks around, but it kept raining so we didn't end up visiting the parks.
Sally Lunn's for afternoon tea and their famous Sally Lunn Bun.

Yummy. My first tea experience in the UK!!
