Islington, National Gallery, South Bank

Today is my second day in London. I live in the borough of Islington. It's ~1.5 miles from central london but the area is cute and filled with little cafes and pubs. During breakfast, I tried an Elderflower cordial which was very tangy and semi-sweet. I didn't like it at first, but I think it grew on me. I registered for LSE, took a LSE tour, and met up with a friend from school with my roommate. As we wandered around central London, we stumbled upon Trafalgar square!! It was gorgeous, and I was super excited.  We walked to the South Bank (by the way, the water in the River Thames looks pretty grey and dirty) and saw cool street performances and graffitied skatepark. And to finish the day off, I just had to go try some cider. I whispered to my friend "watch me get carded," and not surprisingly, I was. Do I really look that young?

There are many cute little parks around London!
